Keisciausia, kad (atrodo) net i du sarasus pateko ir mano blog'as. Atsilygindamas parasysiu ka as skaitau:
troyyestroy.blogspot.com - su Trojum kazkaip senokai suvede mus internetine erdve. Viskas prasidejo nuo forumu ir ji sutikau lizdas.lt forume. Prisimenu, kad pirmieji jo zodziai mazdaug buvo - ko cia atejai, varyk kuo toliau is cia :)
http://www.grumlinas.lt/ - Nezinau, sio zmogaus per daug, bet idomu kartais paskaityt kaip zmones gali kitaip galvot. Be to jis taip pat fotografuoja, ka daro neblogai.
virginijusg.blogspot.com - Man idomus blog'as tuo, kad jis raso apie tokius dalykus, kuriais as niekuomet nesidomejau, o va ji skaitant atrandu, kad pasikeite mano nuomone apie humanitarine gyvenimo puse. Be to pradejo saunu projekta - batavima :)
Per Trojaus, blog'a dar perziuriu siuos blogu's
jucaitis.blogspot.com - dizainologijos - idomus zodis - blog'as
http://pesen-net.livejournal.com/ - toks juokingas pilietis gyvenantis Latvijoje ir rasantis pamokancias istorijas (rusiskai), bet visada perskaitau, kai jis ka paraso.
Dar perziuriu viena blog'a is Svedijos:
yellowgrey.wordpress.com - nors svediskai nemoku, bet naudojant google translate galima kazkiek suprast kas parasyta. Bet ten man idomiausios yra nuotraukos.
Taigi tiek mano trumpu klajoniu po interneta gal kazkiek ir atspindinciu mano asmenybe :)
Reflections are interesting representations of reality. When you look at the mirror everyday you are so used to your reflection that most often do not notice much difference. But take an album and look at the pictures of that young person who, say ten years ago, was looking at the camera and you'll see a young man or woman with hopes, goals and determination to achieve them. More so is interesting to watch kids who slowly grow and change. First they repeat every word and move you say or make, then everything is turning upside-down and they behave contrary to the common sense, but eventually they find meaning of the requirements that parents set and slowly become your reflection.
The text above also lists blogs that i read as it so happens that number of Lithuanian blogs post lists of what everyone reads. The blogs above all but two are in Lithuanian and i do not see reason to translate that part, but you can follow the links and see for yourself what they are about.
One blog that's not in Lithuanian is in Swedish and partially English. Google translate give somewhat more coherent translation from Swedish than from Lithuanian, though not always. But i am attracted to the blog by pictures.
The other blog that's not in Lithuanian is in Russian from a funny guy who lives in Latvia, i always read when he writes.
One additional blog of young reflections on Lithuania, human rights and etc. wordstoanoldsong.wordpress.com
Man regis, visose srityse galima prisikast iki sluoksnio, kuris įdomus. Tai vadinu kultūros archeologija.
ReplyDeleteO už batavimo pagyrimą noriu nuoširdžiai atsilygint: pasimetusių skaičių kolekcija irgi labai puiki, tik sunkiau kaupiama.
Sėkmės!
Troy, visi buvom kazkada :). Fanta pats kaltas, kaip as neseniai buvau tokia citata parases:
ReplyDeleteWhen people say "we must move with the times" they really mean "you must do it my way".
Taigi jis kaip tik to nedaro "my way" kaip ir as nesiruosiu daryt "his way".
Veidrodinis fotikas gerai :) galima fotografu pasijusti :)
-vg- kulturos archeologija, turbut geriausiai apibrezia tokius atradimus :).
Kaip kuriose salyse :) man ir batus rast gana sunku :(.

ReplyDeleteMini, jei net Bibliją išsitraukiau, vadinasi, tikrai gražu. Mėgstu Tavo peizažus, be to, jie ne tik akims paganyti (nors ir dėl to), yra juose dar kažko giluminio, tik dažnai negaliu pasakyti, ko.
o mano tu tai neskaitai....
ReplyDeleteDekui, Buka, nors kazkaip nesijauciu rasas kazka religinga, bet kiekvienas suranda savo Dieva.
ReplyDeleteSi nuotrauka padaryta is dvieju, gal ne visai peizazas, bet kazkas panasaus.
Elze, o tu nesiteiki savo nuorodos man duot. Facebook'e as gi nesilankau, o siaip skaityciau, juk idomu kuo jaunimas gyvas :)

ReplyDeleteIs really reflections distortion of reality?! Just play with the thought, think if, the reflection in the water or window - what is - reality!
ReplyDeleteOr is just an different reality, we normally perceive.
Interesting with mirrors Minis. Looking oneself in the mirror make you blind for what you see. I sometimes use my left hand to comb or brush my teeth. to do things contrary, breaks a part of the habit.
Thank you Minis for put up my blog at your places. I got glad. /barbro
I, too always think-- we can never know what we look like. We can only look in a mirror or a picture, but is that how others see us? It's always strange to hear a recording of myself speaking--is that how others hear me? Even all complexity of recognition of self aside, very simply, very tactilely, are we who we think we are?
ReplyDeleteElze wrote: "..but is that how other see us?"
ReplyDeletenope it is not, other can look upon me and say you look healthy and inside I feel like 150 years. 'smile'
Many time it be due to which the preference framework we operate in. Our own perception. We always see, what we want to see.
Elze wrote: "....are we who we think we are?"
ReplyDeleteSensitive issue. It depends on how truthful we are to ourselves.
Barbro, long ago Plato was contemplating about the shadows in the cave and the reality :) right? so the questions is ageless.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome Barbro, i like your pictures in your blog and photosig.
Elze, Barbro,
your discussion reminded me of one book that i read (or just partially read) almost 10 years ago. It's a collection of stories by other writers, but collection was made by one of my favorite authors - Douglas Hostadter. It's called "Mind's I". In the book there is a short story by J. L. Borges, called "Borges and I".
You can find the story in the preview of the book on amazon.com:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0465030912/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=0553345842&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0QNTR401E18Z6DK7Z9BY#reader_0465030912
though you would need to browse it to the first story. Anyway, i do not want to retell the story but it's about oneself and the reflection of oneself, or imprint of oneself into the society etc. Please read also reflections of D. Hosftadter and D. Dennett.
Going forward, in fact straying forward from the main reflection theme i also found a poem by J.L. Borges, surprisingly called "Mirrors"
http://thefloatinglibrary.com/2009/02/25/mirrors-j-l-borges/
Which is somewhat fun, interesting and terrifying.
Cheers!
P.S. since i pointed out J.L. Borges story in the book, look for the next story by Harding "on having no head" i found that story amusing too :)
ReplyDeleteO-ooo... ačiū už paminėjimą geru žodžiu, atai mudu vis turim po savo nuomonę kiekvienas ;)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Užsklandinis atspindinis kadras patiko :)
Grumlinai, savo skirtingos nuomones turejimas nebutinai daro mus priesais, taip?
ReplyDeleteDekui.
Ne, nematau priežasties priešiškumui. Nes - visokių yra, visokių reikia ;)
ReplyDeleteIr juk nuomonių skirtumas vienu atveju visiškai nereiškia nuomonių skirtumo kitu ;)
Douglas Hostadter. It's called "Mind's I"
ReplyDeleteIt feels interesting.
Barbro, it is interesting and that's the title of the book.
ReplyDeleteI've both read but too skimmed through the book Minis but think it is too much word. Words - that do not really lead anywhere. It stay on the paper and are just theory which doesnt really move onto practice.
ReplyDeleteTo launch awareness, real, tangible training is needed. It is good to know about, that we are conscious beings and that we can create new neural pathways.
If one foot is sick, it must be trained, to get better. Likewise, the brain. If you use only a fraction, the rest wither. Sometimes you might have to force yourself to start a process, and then all the words is of no importance. Just training. It's the act itself that counts.
Send you a link to Tracking Freedom. In that book, there is plenty of real training for the consciousness.

Hi, Barbro,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link, i will definitely look at the book when i will have time. Lately though it's in short supply.
You are right about the book that i've pointed - it's more philosophical - wordy type of book. However i must disagree that theory does not transform into practice. My life's experience shows different thing, however move from theory to practice is far more difficult than follow guidelines.
But i agree with you about the need of training and repetition of it, otherwise one could literaly loose mind :)
Cheers!
Barbro, i did have a chance to look at the book tonight. However, i find it way different from what i had expected. As for a "practicing" scientist i see that the book omits many things that are obvious, or misinterprets scientific knowledge in some mysterious ways. To some degree i was fascinated by these types of books when i was much younger, but experiences and (according to the book you pointed out, predatory) education demystified the half truths published in those books.
ReplyDeleteHowever, i cannot deny that some practices help people to be better, achieve more, be healthier, but i would never believe they allow to develop any super human qualities. Recently i watched National Geographic series "Is it real?" the eighth episode (superhuman powers) specifically is addressing issues of "miracles" that ordinary people perform. The most revealing of all is the way karate master in that episode explains why his method of energy knock-out did not work on skeptical scientist. In fact i was laughing after i saw that episode.
Just for the sake of getting another sides opinion i would suggest to watch that.
Cheers!
..."However i must disagree that theory does not transform into practice. My life's experience shows different thing, however move from theory to practice is far more difficult than follow guidelines."...
ReplyDeleteIf you read how to meditate and then you begin with the practice. Theory go to practice. That is easy.
:-)
